The Bridge to Nowhere is the name of the bridge that Alaska's bridge got named. It is so famous now because Sarah Palin kept mentioning or bragging about how she stopped the Bridge to Nowhere. After she did that The Bridge of Nowhere was back on the front page, exhibit A in Palin's reformist resume. The writers problem is that he really believe that there should be a bridge in alaska to the airport. He says that it will do them good.
He also mentions about how the population in Alaska increases because of cruises and how people visit the place. He mentions the numbers also. I was convinced when I read the article. He makes it sound like the Alaskians would really appreciate it if the government built a bridge so they have easy access. I would want that if I lived in Alaska. He writes about how if the bridge was made that it would improve big time. The population could actually expand instead of being all cramped in one area.
I don't get why they would stop the bridge from being made, I mean it can't do any harm besides alot of money would need to be deducted to make it. After all that ends I bet they would have a more better community then now without the bridge. The writer ends his article with we are not "nowhere". We are somewhere. In America. I really liked how he ended his article like that. It justs makes me feel like wow! they really do want and know that this bridge would improve their community.
